rosieOR: hardly smoked. they were a second too late on Hossa's shot from tying Game 6 and going to overtime. The win in Game 5 in triple OT was as good as it gets.
fair point TwAZCats, their young talent is great and getting better from the looks of this game but where the #@$$%&! was this talent during last season's Stanley Cup playoffs where they shamed the Eastern Conference by getting completely smoked by the Red Wings?!
RosieOr- there are still 750 games left in the season. It's a long road to the cup....and don't forget about the Penguins injuries leading into the series.
The March of the Penguins- These well dressed Penguins played like it was the playoffs beating former Stanly Cup Champs the Detroit Red Wings to every puck. Coming back to win after being down 5-2 in the 3rd period says alot about the young and talented team. It is now pretty clear to me that Sid "The Kid" Crosby, Jordan Staal, and Evgeni Malkin don't listen to Mo-Town and can't finger "Hockey Town" on any map.
